Sterling employees joined efforts again this year with Traylor Brothers, to raise money for juvenile diabetes research by supporting the JDRF nationwide campaign.
JDRF is a charitable 501c organization dedicated to funding type 1 diabetes research. JDRF’s stated vision is “a world without type 1 diabetes.
Money was raised by selling raffle tickets, getting community donations/corporate sponsorships, and participating in a silent auction.
Due to the efforts of many employees and community members it was another successful year! The Team set a new record with the 2018 campaign raising $16,060. This, combined with the TBI corporate sponsorship of $15,000, yields a total donation of $31,060 – this is a 5% increase over last year’s record setting year!
The campaign ended with a walk to support the cause at Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN. There were 88 employees from Traylor and Sterling that attended.
