Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures and certifies the integrity of the equipment
- Ensures company records comply with regulatory requirements
- Performs inspection services
- Monitors quality control systems for compliance with relevant codes and requirements
- Generates inspection memos and may issue equipment deficiency reports and repair recommendations
- Documents quality control systems inspection activities per established policies
- Uphold and promote Sterling’s safety culture
Required Skills
- A minimum of five years of inspection experience in a related industry is preferred
- CWI and boiler experience is required
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federals, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone
- Must be able to perform routine office functions, typing, siting, standing, reading, etc.
