Quality Inspector

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensures and certifies the integrity of the equipment
  • Ensures company records comply with regulatory requirements
  • Performs inspection services
  • Monitors quality control systems for compliance with relevant codes and requirements
  • Generates inspection memos and may issue equipment deficiency reports and repair recommendations
  • Documents quality control systems inspection activities per established policies
  • Uphold and promote Sterling’s safety culture
Required Skills
  • A minimum of five years of inspection experience in a related industry is preferred
  • CWI and boiler experience is required
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federals, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  • Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone
  • Must be able to perform routine office functions, typing, siting, standing, reading, etc.
